Berber Rug

There are many Berber villages near here that make traditional, hand-woven carpets. The Berbers are the indigenous people of Morocco. The first recorded history of Morocco talks about the Berbers. This was when the Phoenicians were here. Who knows how long they were here before that!

Here is a colorful Berber rug from the Taznakht region.
